Our world is changing and evolving, through the innovation of STEM fields there is more technology impacting our lives and environment. The LGBTQIA+ community is under represented in the STEM fields, this is reflected in the treatment of LGBTQIA+ persons by medical professionals down to the slow inclusion of LGBTQIA+ emojis by software developers. 

There is hope! There are LGBTQIA+ people making a difference in these fields.
