TINY THINKERS

These are children books aimed at preschool to elementary aged children. Each of the books is told from the perspective of the scientist as a child going on an adventure! The stories offer biographical information about the scientist and encourage children to have their own adventure.

QUESTIONEERS

"Read. Question. Think." The Questioneers series focus on inspiring children to solve everyday mysteries. The books include a scientist, engineer, and architect. The website for the series has a number of resources for educators and librarians. Remember to never to give up on your dreams.

RAINBOW SCIENCE

Rainbow Science is the first in a series of books for pre-K to elementary children. The children included in the story and illustrations are diverse and inclusive. The books focus on teaching children about the rainbow and primary colors. The books can be used as an interactive teaching tool.

WHO ARE YOU? 

Who Are You: The Kid's Guide to Gender Identity does not fall neatly into the traditional STEM books, however social sciences and identity are an important part of science and education. This is one of the few examples of a guide aimed at children and focusing on such an important and complex topic.
